Join TelstraSuper, so we can create your member number and the account details you need. To become a member, we’ll need your Australian Tax File Number (TFN).
Contact your KiwiSaver fund to get a Trans-Tasman-Portability form (this may be called something else by some funds) and to determine if they have any other specific requirements. This may vary depending on the fund you are with.
Contact TelstraSuper to get a KiwiSaver Letter of Compliance, which confirms TelstraSuper is a complying KiwiSaver-accepting fund.
Send completed form(s)†, any supporting documentation and the TelstraSuper KiwiSaver Letter of Compliance to your KiwiSaver fund. Be sure to confirm that they have everything they need so they can process your KiwiSaver transfer in a timely manner.
† TelstraSuper may need to complete some sections of the form(s). Your KiwiSaver fund will let you know if this is required.
TelstraSuper will confirm with you once we have received your KiwiSaver funds. Please note, it can take your KiwiSaver fund up to 10 weeks to process the transfer. If you have any queries about the transfer during this period, you should contact your KiwiSaver fund in the first instance.
Once you’ve transferred your KiwiSaver you may be able to put some of it towards a deposit for your first home in Australia, under the first home super saver (FHSS) scheme.
