TelstraSuper farewells CIO Graeme Miller

TelstraSuper has announced the departure its Chief Investment Officer, Graeme Miller, after almost nine years of dedicated service to the fund.
TelstraSuper Chief Executive Officer, Chris Davies thanked Mr Miller for his leadership and significant contribution to the fund.
"Graeme has played a pivotal role in shaping our investment strategy, delivering strong outcomes for members and driving the fund's approach to sustainable investing," said Mr Davies. "On behalf of everyone at TelstraSuper – and our members – I want to sincerely thank Graeme for his dedication, commitment and expertise. We wish him the very best in his next chapter."
With Mr Miller's resignation, TelstraSuper has appointed the fund's Head of Alternative Investments and Real Assets, Kate Misic, as interim Chief Investment Officer. Ms Misic’s role will become effective following Mr Miller's departure, which is expected to be later next month.
Since joining TelstraSuper in 2010, Ms Misic has held a range of senior roles across the investment management team, including leading the property, infrastructure, opportunities, hedge fund and private markets asset classes. She has played a key role in enhancing TelstraSuper's lifecycle strategy, launching the high growth option, and identifying innovative investment opportunities in areas such as artificial intelligence and data centres.
Mr Davies said Ms Misic brings a wealth of investment experience to the role and a strong commitment to TelstraSuper members.
"With her proven leadership skills and deep expertise across multiple asset classes, Kate is exceptionally well-placed to guide our investment strategy for members and build on the strong foundation that Graeme has established," he said.
Ms Misic said she was honoured to lead the investment team and manage the retirement savings of TelstraSuper members.
"It’s a privilege to help build the financial future of our members, and l look forward to helping shape the investment outcomes that support their long-term goals."
Prior to her time at TelstraSuper, Ms Misic was Senior Portfolio Analyst for the Australian Equities funds at Warakirri. She also spent time at Frontier Investment Consulting, a leading asset consultant and Wilshire Associates, a Private Equity specialist.
